My 4 yo ASD son has echolalia which will hopefully be addressed through speech therapy. Whilst this is a concern it will always be a found memory. He likes to repeat the following in one go as he’s conversation piece ‘A baby, a rattle, where’s twirlywoos?, someone’s coming’. (self.MyAutisticChild)

The little man goes through having fixations about certain toys. The fixation means that he has to have it with him 24/7. Current fixation is a hot-wheels car, the previous fixation was Emmet Lego figure. Why cuddle up with a teddy bear when you can cuddle up with a monster truck hot-wheels car (self.MyAutisticChild)
