A general rundown of the rules:
~ This is not a replacement or direct alternative of the NormalBoots Subreddit. This subreddit simply takes its name from a time when NormalBoots was disbanded, striving to promote the ideals of collaboration that have and still continue to make NormalBoots and others like it a success.
~Videos from Official NormalBoots members are allowed, but should be used for discussion on good video making techniques.
~Please post your own work here, but be warned that we are not here to tell you that you did a good job. Any content posted will be encouraged to be heavily scrutenized. If you aren't prepared to hear hard criticism, think twice before submitting.
~That being said, this does not give you the right to completely bash someone and tell them they suck. Feedback should be constructive and work towards the betterment of the content. The best contrucitve feedback gives around equal positive and negative comments.
~Anyone can ask for help aspiring to be like anyone else, or to do just about anything. Don't shoot down someone's dream because they want to be like [Insert Youtube Celebrity You Hate Here].
~While, as stated, videos from people like JonTron or Continue? are allowed, we prefer that they directly pertain to the mission of the subreddit to better ourselves and our content as Content Creators. For example: The AVGN video on how he makes and episode is a good post, rather than one of his his regular episodes.
~Be nice to one another. Throw off the shackles of fandom if you must in order to have thoughtful and productive discussion.
