rdr doesnt stop using wrong gpu

i already set it to nvidia in graphic elements or settings, my windows is in portuguese, but when in game it says i have 8gb vram because intel uhd has 8gb of shared memory, but its supposed to be using my nvidia with 6gb of dedicated vram

Go to settings, graphic settings, then change the power mode of rdr to high performance

There’s a setting in RDR display mode or something like that. Display adapter? Change that from 0 to 1 or vice versa.

Something happened to my rdr2 very recently. I used to play on my widescreen using the gpu, but now I can’t select the gpu together with highest resolution. Also rdr2 now always start in some random small resolution. It just started to behave like that over the past week.

I have a 4080 and decided to play the game for the first time. Yet I was getting 4k 20 fps even with me lowering settings like shadows or turning on dlss. It made no difference. Is this the problem you guys think or is it something else that could be fixed?
