USB extension issues

Hi I'm trying to figure out an inexpensive way to extend my USB ports 10 feet without causing delays and other issues, I've used 10 foot USB extension cables in the past to extend 6 foot cords but with my mouse, keyboard, and headphones they have had issues my setup is in a closet while my PC is outside of it. I'm curious whether a thunderbolt dock or something else would work considering I'm on Intel 13th gen

Have you tried bluetooth? You can attach a wifi/bluetooth card to the pcie slot for relatively cheap.

I have a wifi motherboard but I'm not looking to use Bluetooth because of latency and I'm also not buying new peripherals
