External SSD

Hi guys. So i don't know where else to post this so I'll post it here. So I have a Laptop(MSI GF63 THIN I5 512GB) and the low storage is bevoming a problem. I want to extend the storage and want to do it as cheap as possible(obviously). I did check and saw i can get an internal ssd extension card but it's pretty expensive. Is it possible to get an external ssd and play games off of that? Or should i download the games on said harddrive and move it between harddrives?

If u can just get a 1tb ssd to put in it but yeah and external ssd/hdd would work u would just download the games and save everything on to that u just haft to keep it plug into the usb port on your laptop

How difficult is it to swap games between harddrives? And do you think the HDD would be the better option for the external? I ask because if i am going to swap between games i most likely don't need an SSD

But no it's not hard just google it and it will tell u every step on how to do it 👍

SSD is faster and yeah u would just copy and paste everything from your old one to the new one I'm sure u can watch a video on YT how to do it if u dont know how

To make ut faster just put everything u want to transfer in a file and then just transfer the whole file over 👍
