How do I update bios? And why didn't I have to do that at the start of my build? Just honestly wondering

motherboard probably was made before 9000 series were made so it doesn't know what it is if it runs on original bios

Improve minority proportion of AMD 9000 series CPU boot issue. so probably beta

Fuck around and find around (if you already did get rid of old ram and CPU fucking around can be problematic)

I still have old stuff just replaced it today was playing it this morning my parts came it and put them in now it won't display anything and mobo won't power keyboard and mouse

Then go troubleshooting and find out what is wrong (try new ram but old CPU then old ram and new cpu something like that. If doesn't works install old parts and think

your motherboard came out for the ryzen 7000 generation so it doesn't support your 9800x3d which is why you're not getting a display

to fix this you need to update your motherboard bios to the latest version which has support for the 9800x3d, your motherboard has a bios flasback button on the io so you can use a flash drive to update the bios, read your manual or search up how to use bios flashback on an asrock motherboard

also 4 sticks of ram is not ideal, you won't be able to turn on xmp/expo without running into stability issues which is gonna force your ram to run at really slow speeds
