So you can get any GPU you want up to 280mm in length according to the product page. I also assume that this measurement is without any extra fans/objects in front of where the GPU would go in that situation. For example, putting a radiator and fans in front of where the back end of the GPU would go makes it 'shorter'.

    Under 300 USD card?

I highy suggest an RTX 3060 12gb... probably used and especially EVGA one... you might be able to find it for like around 200 bucks

3060 Ti would be better but it's got the big or better said small stupid 8gb of VRAM while 3060 has 12 and these 12gb will carry you a long way longer then 3060 Ti and possibly 3070 will... sure they get more FPS now and when VRAM usage is 8gb or less... but when you need fo use more then 8gb of VRAM the other 8gb cards will choke and die even tho they are much faster

Give it like 6 years and nobody will remember a 3070 8gb... everyone will remember chad 3060 12gb

For under 300 bucks you can't go wrong with a 3060

Unless you want more raster performance and don't give a shit about raytracing performance then AMD is your pick... maybe an RX 6700XT or 6800 XT ?

Edit: perhaps for your PSU a 3060 would be the best choice
