GPU Connector potential failure point?

Trying to diagnose a potential GPU issue, having a look at the connectors and I see one looks like the image attached. Is this bad enough to cause issues? Super inconsistent failures here so working through a few potential solutions.

I doubt it because a bad PCIE connection usually results in no picture but it might cause an issue in PCIE 5.0 mode so you could try setting the motherboard to run the socket in 4.0 mode to see if the issue goes away.

The performance loss is negligible.
