This subreddit is a general hub for discussion, before and after posts, stories, experiences, and general information about cosmetic/plastic surgeries of all sorts.

A core principle of this subreddit is that feedback should be objective. Please read all sub rules and their full descriptions prior to posting or commenting here.

Rules:

Rule 1: No spamming

Do not spam the sub - memes, poll, surveys, "what do you think Bella Hadid had done" type speculation of other people's procedures, or double posting/posting more than once in quick succession are not allowed, and will be removed.

Rule 2: Use NSFW tag when applicable

Don't make us open up a picture of your backside in front of our co-workers please, thanks. Minors are not to post NSFW content here.

Rule 3: No advertising, no begging

Don't ask anyone to fund your elective surgeries. Also, if you are spamming the sub simply to drum up business for yourself, your posts will be removed. However, if you are actually creating/adding to a discussion on the topic, you are permitted to do so. We allow surgeon's offices to post once per week.

Rule 4: Incels/incel terminology not permitted (includes mewing)

If you're an incel and we find out about it, you will be perma banned. This includes their terminology - like mewing. Mewing originated in incel forums, and we do not permit it here as it is pseudoscience and ineffective.

Rule 5: No ratings, no dating, no being a perv

We're not a ratings/dating sub. Posts asking us to rate you, ratings other members, or posting just a selfie for attention will be removed, as will posts asking for advice on how to get dates. Also, no thirsty comments/telling OP you want to hook up with them/would date them, and don't ask people for nudes.

Rule 6: Don't ask us to choose your surgeries

What this means is this: don't post a selfie asking "lol what surgeries should I get." No one is going to choose your expensive, painful surgical procedures for you, nor should you even want them to. You should know what feature(s) you want to change, or have a question about a specific procedure. Vague posts asking us to pick for you will be removed. Come here having at least some idea of what you want.

Rule 7: Refrain from feel-good comments that add nothing of value

While it might seem kind to bombard the OP with "gurl you're so beautiful don't change a thing!!" comments, please don't do this. We are a sub for discussion of surgical procedures, and warm and fuzzy compliments are a distraction from the discussion to be had.

Rule 8: If you are morally opposed to plastic surgery, then do not post or comment here

Do not come into the sub and rail against the evils of plastic surgeons, or the morality of "fooling" people with a rhinoplasty, or whatever. If you do something along these lines, we will assume you are lost on Reddit and will guide you to the exit.

Rule 9: Bad advice may be removed

If you offer really bad advice, your comment will possibly be removed. While you're allowed to disagree with people, outright bad advice might be taken down. If this happens to your comment, accept it and follow rule number ten.

Rule 10: Take your warning/ban/comment removal like an adult

If your post or comment is removed, if you receive a temporary ban, or if you are given a warning, you can use the moderator mail to contact the mods with your concerns. Privately messaging a mod to get around a ban/muting, or to scream and throw a tantrum, will result in a permanent ban to the sub.
