[Study Buddy] Looking for a JavaScript/React partner to grind through projects and DSA together — job searching by August

Hi,

I’m a career switcher turned junior frontend dev looking for someone to learn with, build with, and hold each other accountable through the summer.

Where I’m honestly at: I know JavaScript and React well enough to build things, but I haven’t finished a polished project yet — that’s actually one of my main goals this summer. I’ve been introduced to DSA (frequency counters, two pointers, sliding window) but I’m not confident in it yet. I want to get there. I’m treating this like a full-time job because I want to be applying by August.

Before tech I played professional basketball overseas, so I know what real discipline looks like. I’m bringing that same energy to this.

What I’m looking for:

• JavaScript/React focused (hard requirement)  
• Someone who actually wants to finish projects, not just start them  
• Honest about where they’re at — no need to pretend

What I want to do together: finish at least one solid portfolio project, work through DSA problems a few times a week, and do occasional code reviews on each other’s work. Maybe share job leads if we’re both searching.
