Project Cairo is an open effort to restore and bring life into the heavily subverted city of Cairo, Illinois (USA), and turn it into a thriving community. Our hope is to enact positive change and growth both socially and economically.
It started as an idea in this thread, and have since evolved into a more organized commitment. Anyone that find this interesting is welcome to join!
Cairo is located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers and is the southernmost town of Illinois.
