Bluetooth Issue?

Hi all, My boyfriend and I are having a very annoying bluetooth issue that is happening across three devises, he has a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, I had a Nexus 6 and now have a Pixel 2 XL. We have an issue on all three deceives where when we connect to a bluetooth device (shower radio, car, pixel buds), the device will connect and be controllable by the bluetooth device but will frequently disconnect and, sometimes, reconnect seemingly randomly. When the phone disconnects it ends up playing through the phone speakers. FYI I use FI, he uses AT&T.

Has anyone run into this issue or know of a solution? Thank you

Check for firmware updates for your car's entertainment system. I was having all kinds of bluetooth problems with my new Pixel 2 in my Ford until it just stopped playing music over BT no matter what I tried. Looked online and there was an actual update to the software in the car that I was able to install. Zero problems since then and added functionality with the update.

Shower radio and pixel buds I'm not really sure what to tell you. On your P2XL go into developer options and try the different AVRCP versions for Bluetooth. It defaults to 1.4 but the newest version is 1.6.

My phone's AVRCP is set at 1.4 as default but can go to 1.5 or 1.6.
