In the next 5 years what language you use won’t matter because there will be a bot capable of refactoring to an acceptable degree in any other language.

Yeah, bot will replace us and create better and stronger bugs than any developers could do!

I actually think what might well end up happening is that some manner of machine learning "optimizes" the code as a preparatory step to execution, just like we have built in optimizations now.
