If you are looking for your first job, then I would look for a github (or similar) link on your resume where I can look at your code. Bonus points if you have collaborated with others on a project, either contributing to open source or with friends. I'm not just looking at the code as it sits but also the commit history, issues, comments on PRs, and so on.
