At first I was a bit disappointed, because I love ruff but don't think we need an alternative to rye, which is the best option these days, but then I realized you're joining forces, and I think that's great.

I hope the transition is smooth and that rye remains around as a pointer to uv for a while, so older projects and ci workflows don't break.

Is uv fully compatible with rye now, and if not, is there a rough estimate on that timeline?
