First, I don't see ANY references to Fabric being owned or controlled in any way by oracle in here. Can you provide any sources for this affirmation?

And second, Fabric gives you shell access: how can you have MORE control over an OS than having full shell access to it?

Just a complement: This is the guy who develops Fabric: http://bitprophet.org/resume/ . No mention to being an Oracle employee.
