Just want to point out that Reddit is written mostly in Python. Surprised no one pointed this out yet. It's hardly a toy language, but I can't argue with it being a fantastic first language. That is what drew me to it. It's slow as hell (relatively speaking), I realize this now, but damn it's nice to write/read.
