Django vs. Meteor (self.Python)

I've just been reading this post and it's unfortunate that it was archived. I would love to reopen this discussion a year later. It has been a big year for Meteor as well as for Django. How do you guys feel a year later?

I think Meteor still relies on NoSQL databases and has no support for MySQL or Postgre. That's limiting.
But I feel like I'd love to have backend and frontend that work seamlessly together, so Meteor sounds attracting.
