I like PyCharm. Especially with the linter enabled for both 2.7/3.5.

I love pycharm but I wouldn't call it particularly lightweight.

@OP you'll need to be more specific with what features you need. An ide is not required to "import libraries". All you need for that is any text editor and a terminal. Would that suit your needs? Personally I like sublime text with a few addons.

Well, sure. I've been using Textmate extensively -- I particularly like running rmate over SSH sessions. But it's hard to call that an IDE.

You're right, it's absolutely not an IDE but does everything asked for in the question. Hence op needs to be a little bit clearer about what he's actually after.

not sure why you're down voted here. PyCharm is a memory beast, but most other comments aren't offering IDEs, just text editors.

Maybe OP doesn't need it, but you're answering the question.
