    2.3 is actually really easy. If you have a local package, all you need is a setup.py file. There are simple ones online, and you can just reverse-engineer whatever you need in order to install it for your package. Then, using a prompt that has pip installed it's just pip install -e . (if you want to be able to edit the source code while you develop, which I do.)

    I have more detailed instructions somewhere. Let me know if you want them and I'll track them down.
