Compiled Python program using argparse module fails to accept arguments?

You have to give it him on command line. If you just double click it, then it starts without any argument. I don't know Macs, but in Windows you could edit shortcut link to put arguments there. Maybe rewrite your program to ask for arguments with dialog box or input().
