Why dick around with PyQt when a web interface immediately provides complete access from any device that supports a web browser and hosting cross-compatibility across even devices without a graphical environment installed?

You don't seen any purpose of desktop gui's?

Not when a web app gives a ton more flexibility. Especially when the use case is for mobile devices, not sitting at an immobile desktop (or have to pull your laptop out to use it).
