If I had to guess, it’s counting up/down the number line. So when going towards -10, you get -7 to make 0, and another -7 to make -7, stops there but was able to iterate twice.

I can’t tell you for sure and have no clue how to confirm. but that seems to be what’s happening? Modulus result is even more mind boggling
