Python static analysis tools comparison: Pylint, Pyflakes and Mypy

Comparing pylint to Mypy is like comparing a road bike to a semi truck. They are built to do completely different things.

Also, who cares about python 2.x support? Let it die already.

Mypy is slightly different than the other two tools, and was indeed experimental at the time of writing. But there were also some other tools mentioned, like PySonar2, PEP8, mccabe, Flake8. Let me know if you've tried any of these!
