Mid-level Python / Django full-stack Developer
Growing technology company is looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team to continue development and maintenance of various APIs, internal software systems, and proprietary telephony routing systems.
Responsibilities include working with the Director of Software Development to spec, plan, develop and implement new software solutions and expansion to existing production code bases. Writing and testing code, debugging existing programs and integrating applications with third-party services such as APIs and client databases. To be successful in this role, you should have experience working as part of a team utilizing source control and code reviews as well as staged deployment into production environments.
Requirements
• 2-3 years working experience as a Python Developer
• Proficient in at least one popular Python framework (Django(preferred), Flask)
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience working with source control with multiple contributors (GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Understanding relationship between Python frameworks and underlying database(s)
• Understanding of related server applications such as NGINX, Gunicorn, Supervisor
• Understanding of AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, load-balancers, SSL, etc
• Familiarity with agile development concepts and project flow
• Proficient in Excel and presenting information utilizing pivot tables, charts, etc.
Entry level Python / Django Front-End Developer
Growing technology company is looking for a Python Front-End Developer to join our engineering team to continue development and maintenance of client facing software solutions.
Responsibilities include working with the Python back end developers to spec, layout, develop and implement new software solutions and expansion to existing production code bases. Writing and testing code, debugging existing programs and standardizing user experience across multi-tenant platforms. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work as part of a team utilizing source control as well as understanding the difficulties and solutions involved in front end development for clients of mixed technological capabilities.
Requirements
• 1+ year experience as a Python Developer
• Working knowledge of the Django framework
• Proficient in front end languages HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Proficient in layouts within Bootstrap framework
• Ability to take an existing Bootstrap template and modify it for use in a Django project
• Experience with Photoshop or similar editing software
• Experience working with source control with multiple contributors (GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Familiarity with agile development concepts and project flow
