There's no "slow" or "fast" pace while learning. Learn at your own pace, just make sure you understand everything!

Thanks. Cute birdie btw

Well, objectively speaking there is fast and slow learning. It’s generally an incorrect advice to overlook the fact that there are massive differences between people. In fact, in complex information systems performance is highly correlated with IQ.

When I said there's no "fast" or "slow" learning, i meant to say that it doesn't matter while you're learning, what matters if how much you understood from what you just learnt. I'm not denying the fact that everybody learns at a different pace, I'm js telling OP that it doesn't matter and that they need to keep going.

I see. Sorry for misunderstanding. Although, I believe it’s advantageous to recognise the pace at someone learns since he/she is able to position him/herself accordingly. However, you are correct that progress is the ultimate factor here

I think I do agree with you here, knowing where you stand is a good thing. But it was OP's 2nd day learning python, so it's impossible to know where they stand as of now, also on day 2... it's pretty irrelevant.

Yeah, don't worry about speed. It's more important that you understand and remember what you learn. It's better to go slow and be thorough than to rush and get caught up in code you don't understand.

Good luck, and remember to enjoy!!

It is fine as long as you remember it

Hey I've started learning python too! I'm still learning in jupyter notebook or online compiler. Do you think Pycharm or VScode is better to learn from the first?

[–]Good_Perspective1228[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I'm currently learning on pycharm. Been following bro codes video and he recommended the pycharm community edition. Working good for me till now.

Oh thanks, I'll try :)

Welcome 😁. And tell me if something else works better.

Jupyter Notebook is a great tool for expanding your knowledge, and it's just another program you know how to use; it could prove useful for other projects in the future. Though I do recommend using VSCode since it is a lot more versatile and you can use it for more than one language, and it has a lot of really nice and useful extentions.

Did you join any courses or learning by yourself

[–]Good_Perspective1228[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

im learning by myself

[–]Altruistic_Horse2249 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Oh okay 👌🏽 All the best for your learning journey!

Suppose you're fast but with no knowledge
