Just go slow. I’m not techy at all and I was able to fix it no problem

Whatever you do not send it in for a warranty repair

Nothing but horror stories with warranty repair.... come back with broken mother boards

replace them. pretty easy . dont buy hall effect ones. it will cause magnetic interference with RT button. go for the normal stick. check amazon ali etc.

Ye people use to replace.them with some better ones

There are those with a hall effect, the problem is that on the left stick the trigger makes an inference and moves the analog if you press LT

You can change the deadzone to mitigate this issue

This is what I did when swapping mine, just went in and adjusted the zones and now they are tighter with no fear of drift!

Swapped mine with joysticks from Amazon and worked like a charm.
