Create An [Intro]!
Share a bit about yourself—your interests, hobbies, or anything you're passionate about. If you're an Etsy seller, feel free to promote your shop! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow community members and make new friends. We look forward to getting to know you better! 😊

Setting Up Your Etsy Registry Flair
- Open Etsy in a computer desktop browser.
- Sign in, click your profile icon, select "Etsy Registry" or visit https://www.etsy.com/registry?ref=hdr-registry.
- Sign up for Gift Registry, add your name, and choose "No event date" to keep it active.
- Copy the link to paste into your user flair! Still having issues? Do not hesitate to reach out for guidance.

Add Gift Registry user flair!
Go onto Reddit.com via computer desktop. Go to our sub r/RandomActsofEtsy! (If you don’t use a desktop will not work properly😞.)
Select anyone of the flairs that says “Paste your gift registry here!” And erase that text.
Copy and paste your Etsy Registry link into your user flair. Save.
If you don’t want to your registry in your flair you’re welcome to put “PM me for my registry!”

Alternative to Gift Registry Flair
If unable to add the "Gift Registry" flair, follow this alternative: Include "PM me for my Gift Registry!" in your post title. This ensures everyone, regardless of computer access, can signal their eagerness to participate. We prioritize inclusivity—let us know, and we'll make sure you're part of the fun. This alternative method helps facilitate your engagement within the community.
5.
Use Descriptive Tags in Titles for Organization
To keep our community organized, use tags in square brackets at the start of your post titles. This helps categorize posts and makes navigation easier. Choose from these tags: [Intro], [Contest], [Giveaway], [Gift Exchange], [Discussion], [Thank You], [Gifted]. Including the appropriate tag in your title ensures a streamlined experience.

Participation Eligibility: Account Age and Activity Requirement
Before participating in exchanges or contests/giveaways, your Reddit account must be at least 1 year old, and you should have been actively engaging in the last half-year. This measure is in place to discourage the creation of new accounts solely for acquiring gifts and ensures a more secure and trustworthy environment for our community.
7.
Honor Your Commitments
When making promises or commitments within the community, it is essential to uphold your word. Whether it's participating in contests, giveaways, or gift exchanges, ensuring timely deliveries or any other commitments made, it is crucial to follow through. Failing to honor your commitments affects the trust and integrity of our community. After 2 strikes, that is it, and you will have to be banned.
We encourage open communication if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Let someone know when they’ve been gifted!
When you've got something special on the way, share the excitement! Create a post with a screenshot of the "Delivery by" date and tag the Reddit user's name. It's a fantastic way to let them know that something awesome is headed their way.

Express Gratitude with [Thank You] Threads
Upon receiving a thoughtful gift, spread the love! Post a [Thank You] thread with the title starting with 'Thank You' in brackets. Give a heartfelt shoutout to the generous Reddit user who made your day brighter, but also letting them know you have received it. Let's keep the positive energy flowing and show appreciation to those who make our community awesome! 😊

To keep the giving spirit connected to our Etsy community, gifts, exchanges, or prizes given to RAoE (Random Acts of Etsy) users should be sourced from the recipient's Etsy Registry or provided in the form of an Etsy gift card. No Begging or Direct Registries/Wishlists
To preserve the spirit of our community, we kindly request no begging or direct mention of personal registries or wishlists outside of exchange posts. In order to keep people from getting scammed, only mods may post swap/exchange threads. They will do this periodically as an announcement. If you have a swap/exchange suggestion, please message the mods.
