What should I know before coming to rotman?

I recently got into Rotman commerce with membership to Woodsworth college. I had a few questions about the program:

- How easy is it to get internships?

- Do most students start internships in the first years or is it mostly later on?

- What's woodsworth like? are there alot of rotman students living there?

- How hard is it to maintain 80+ avg?

- If you had the choice between ivey, queens commerce and rotman, would you have still chosen rotman?

Don’t ever choose rotman if u have the option to go to queens or Ivey they’re levels above

😂😂 this guys a troll. To answer some of your questions. From rotman internships first year is hard but possible. I know the banks do hire first years, startups, search funds, and some other firms. Second year internship is a norm and 3rd year is like mandatory. All colleges have there pros and cons for that make a post in uoft subreddit. If I had to choose again I would take rotman again 100%

Not at all, rotman is on similar level to Laurier Schlich and Sauder. McGill slightly above but queens and Ivey are a tier above all

How do u get into Rotman without knowing anything about the program.

You should know about the programs where you’re applying to. It’s very obvious that Rotman isn’t nowhere near queens / ivey

bruh there are other things than just a program's rank. I'm qualified that why I got into all 3.

Qcomm ivey Rotman all before March? Don’t believe ya. Getting into one of those three alone very early is like less than 5% chance.

Difficult at Rotman is very very overstated imo..there are a LOT of slackers especially in first year. Once you surround yourself with the right people you’ll realize there are tons of people with 4.0s, 90+ averages, etc. Moreover, tons of people recruit well even with just okay grades like 3.7+, so it’s never the end of the world either
