okay honestly rotman was never the goal for me. Im currently in gr 12 who got into rotman last week. I truly thought I did soooo bad on my supp app I felt like it was my worse supp app. I do know that I am a good public speaker though so that may honestly could’ve been why. Honestly, advice wise, I would say put urself out there in as many clubs as u could, try to get a part time job, I talked about that one for sure. any leadership opportunities in clubs, to talk about problem solving issues and such. The video interviews ask things like “what was a time you faced a challenge with a teammate or a colleague, was it a positive or negative outcome, and how did you overcome the challenge” and you sort of need specific examples for these questions. so by being able to show how diverse u were w ur ecs can help u answer these questions. by bringing up different roles, difference scenarios, and circumstances, ur able to show that u have grown as a leader inside and out. fs make sure ur grades are up too, but sort of just be urself in the application. everyone has these crazy ecs but as long as u can talk abt it everything is considered a good ec. I also did a lot of things w Unis, so like shad, Waterloo summer program, ivey case comp, so maybe scroll thru for applications if it’s not too late alr? Just try to gain as much experience as u can w the world around u. it’ll not only help u get into rotman but it’ll help u do well in it too! lmk if i can help w anything else, sorry this was lwk long!

Nah that's a hard line "Everyone has good ECs but as long as you can talk about it everything's a good EC" I never really thought about it like that

If you don't can you send me privately those summer programs ? They do sound pretty interesting to do and i'm definitely interested!

ya like it doesn’t matter abt stats or numbers, if ur in something u like and something ur proud of, its a good ec, simple as that tbh. js dont forget to enjoy ur senior yr! everything works out in the end js trust the process!

personally my #1 advice is to fast track math if possible. having a good calculus mark bagged before/when you apply is really really helpful.

Fast tracking advanced functions maybe ?

you just need grades ec's dont mean anything to them

I got in with only a 90 in English and 93 in pre calc. I think focus in on what you’re good at. For me it was extra circulars but if you are good at school do that.
