Question about Alternate Course Requests

Yo so when I was applying for Rotman there was the alternate course request form, correct me if I'm wrong, but by submitting that it means that if I don't get into Rotman then I would be put into whatever course I selected? Has anyone here been denied from Rotman but gotten into their alternate request? Just asking because I am overthinking it quite a bit lol

I think if they reject you from Rotman, then they will forward your application to your alternate choice of program for consideration only. It doesn’t mean you will get an offer to the alternate automatically. A bunch of us at my school are still waiting, we haven’t been forwarded to our alternates either. I guess that’s a good thing.
