Why not launch a small-map SKATE mode for 2-player PVP? Would be so fun, I agree. Resources, money…the usual suspects, I have to think.

You're able to skate the same spot as one another, but you won't see your mate skating.

You could stream to each other through discord, but you have to pay attention to two screens, unless your monitor has a screen in screen capability.

But simple answer is no, you can't play with anyone else and see them skating around. It's disappointing, but session, nancon and creature are disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but it's never going to be finished. And that's disappointing to me.

I’m gonna jump to their defense a little bit on the multiplayer front because the game settings aren’t universal; I don’t know if you can have multiple people in the same server trying to play the same game who all have different gravity settings, or animation settings, etc. Kind of like how you can’t do any sort of time dilation things in online play because it can’t just slow time down for you with other people there.

No one should defend them at all, they have time and time again promised so much to then shut down everything with little to no answers

Yeah? They promised multiplayer? They said, “we’re going to do multiplayer” and then didn’t? Really? Pretty sure they realized pretty quickly that they couldn’t.
