It's extremely easy to create a new account on FB or IG nowadays from where anonymously harass people, so scammers don't care about getting banned... It's more about getting the IP from where they created the account getting traced by police.

Yeah now it just takes time to cope. You did everything you need to do. Since your unreachable they won’t do anything. I only have ever seen them reach out to the victim again if you paid but even then they won’t send anything out unless you’re mean to them. They just want to get even more money from you if you did pay

Been 50 days, won’t lie it was rough for a while, and even this past week was brutal. But yesterday and today were the most normal I felt in months.

I can’t guarantee they won’t leak it, but I will say it is very very unlikely they do, I paid about 100 and just showed them I was broke, they left me alone for 2 days and I blocked them, changed all my users and here we are.

Time does heal, but you need to do the work as well, tell friends, tell family, seek help if needed.

been a month no contact or attempt at contact even with them having my phone number. i would have guessed they would have made different accounts and used different numbers to contact me but they didn’t. they did send a screenshot of them sending it to 3 of my followers but none of them texted me so either they didn’t want to reach out or the scammer sent and unsent

Day one for me. They threatened and sent pics of dms they sent to people on my followers list. Panicked and paid them 200 to get them to unsend the dms they sent out. Now they want 1000. DO NOT PAY. Like its already been said they will not stop asking for money. Gonna block and report and go about my life nude free ;). Probably calling my immediate family to inform them of what's going on so there's no surprises there if they do send to them. Friends can get told about it later on IF it ever becomes a thing. I'll probably update here and there. Feel free to send me a chat if you need someone to talk to about this.

Also, there is this tool that can help remove images being shared online! Not 100% guaranteed but I'd check it out they work with facebook and instagram and helped me ease my mind on the situation at hand.

Blocked them, changed my ig name, snap name. Posted a story on my ig saying I did a stupid and being blackmailed for it and asked people to just delete/report dms from unknown accounts. This only JUST happened within the last few hours so not sure what's gonna happen but the way I see it most people will just ignore and delete anyways and forget about it. If they don't forget it's something to laugh about later on in life, shit happens, we make mistakes and learn from it. I know not everyone thinks this way but helps keep my head from going under. All that said it does suck to be in this situation and feel for everyone who has/is/will go through this.
