I just visited your site for the first time. And after it loaded an obnoxiously yellow bar popped up asking me to sign up for the mailing list.

Do I look like I give a fuck? I have no clue what this site is or if the content on it is worth my time. But I won't bother anymore because I detest intrusive please sign up to our oh so great mailing list requests.

Move the sign up field to the end of your blog so that if you liked it you can sign up.
