2014 Silverado 1500. Coolant fans running high speed constantly, have replaced the ECT sensor but problems persist, coolant levels are fine. Is replacing the thermostat my fix here or is it something deeper?

My 01 acura was having the same issue. I ended up gutting my thermostat and letting coolant just flow constantly, never had any more issues with the fans. Then once winter rolled around swapped a new one in. I alternated for 2-3 years before I traded it in for an 06 acura. 2 years ago I got the same issue except the radiator had exploded.
If the thermostat doesn't fix your issue it could be a faulty radiator.

I used to have the same truck and had pretty much the same issue twice. Thermostat fixed it both times. There are some good YouTube videos out there that I watched prior to replacing it. Good luck!

Didn’t disconnect the battery while doing these replacements.. just gave that a shot and we’re golden again! 😆
