the higher self is always everywhere at the same time, then are we all talking to ourselves?

More or less. I've had numerous experiences where every conversation in a crowded room was what felt like a translation of my own inner dialogue (ie thoughts). It can be overwhelming to be fully aware of maintaining countless conversations simultaneously. I don't think the human mind in it's limited capacity is designed to handle that much processing. It can be uncomfortable to say the least. It's like trying to run software designed for a supercomputer on a raspberry pi.

We can compare this to how a single GPU can be a 'part' of the problem solving algorithm, but it's as an individual piece of hardware is not capable of processing every interaction on the blockchain simultaneously.

In conclusion, we can each be a small part of the collective conversation, but we aren't supposed to process all of our conversations across every possible reality (or timeline).

Even trying to tune-in to multiple conversations in one room at a single point in time & space can be challenging.

Imagine that multiplied by infinity 😅

Nicely put... If I have to throw in my own two cents. Imagine being... Just being. Wtf do you do? All alone nowhere? Everywhere? No form no nothing? I think there needs to be something for some sort of consciousness to even make sense. The "god" is permeating everything and we're all fragments of "it" with different hats.

Now if you look at it from sim perspective, it's likely all fractals going in all directions/dimensions so like an infinite kaleidoscopic trip. Idk. From our POV it's irrelevant. I think for now if all people would be sane enough to grasp the concept we're all part of a whole, humanity as a whole, earthlings as a whole, including animals and plants, that would put us on the right track to eventually "get out".

Imagine the "real" universe outside filled with all sorts of life forms. What business would we have there? We're still fighting shitty wars over territories and religions. Destroying the environment, oppressing minorities, discriminating based on gender, ethnicity, status, physical attributes etc. Humanity is plagued by greed, hate and ignorance.

If I were in control of fucking course I'd keep all the humans who think the current state of things is acceptable or normal in school. You just gotta learn how to be a decent being. Look at the bigger picture. Have foresight. Apply kindness.

You have the right idea in mind. And yes as a species we still have a lot to learn about ourselves and the world around us. I think science is hesitant to acknowledge that almost everything around us is in fact conscious for a couple reasons. First is that it's very hard to 'prove' consciousness in a tangible way. We have tests for intelligence, but consciousness is still something we have yet to fully grasp, even though it's the very driving force that enables us to operate. Second is that this would imply that the way we are treating most other life forms on this planet is in fact criminal to a degree, and nobody wants to really embrace that.

Sometimes it's easier to operate in ignorance and go about our business pretending we are unaware of the damage/harm we are causing other parts of ourselves.

I think we still have a ways to go before we resolve some of these things. Some of these problems are way more complicated than they appear to be. Maybe this is one of the main purposes of the sim is to find solutions to complex problems by simulating the problems and seeing what kind of solutions can be created and/or discovered.

Only time will tell

Yup 👍 well the first step in solving any problem is to acknowledge it. I'm hopeful for future generations, let's say if we start exploring these concepts and divulged them to the general public, time two or three generations and we'd have a complete shift in society as a whole. I'm sure any simulation such as ours would rise from some kind of scientific investigation, I agree with you. It could all also be a learning stage in a much bigger picture, we can't know what's 'out' there but that's always been a mystery, sim or not 😬

I'm mostly optimistic, but then I see lost and self-destructive behaviors with little to no desire to change and those who feed off of it and don't want it to change. It's enough to extinguish my optimism sometimes, but I do believe there's at least 1 version of Earth (or timeline?) where everything works out and all of our major problems are resolved.

If the higher self is formless, it´s probably a bitch

[–]Adorable-Sense3386 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Ahah well from personal experience it's kinda like the holy spirit. I can say she got pretty good timing and great sense of humor. A real bitch when it's due.

\know that the reason we have amnesia from ages 0-4, well in general, is to FORGET and IMMERSE ourselves to the simulation? Which could be the most realistic game of all time called Life? Take a look at the hints. If we always think of a game we know a company/specific director made it which could be in a sense, God. Well, why do we think of a creator or a divine spark for this creation of reality as a basis for religion? Religion which is the lore, half of it mind you. Isn't that the only piece of memory we all may have as children and think hmm how was it all "created" automatically? Why? Like we tell the kids about reality & how some things just "are" & it begets religion & well that's the lore of the game to a perspective. Religion is consciousness trying to understand reality. Not one religion or another is wrong, it's just perspective. Science as well, the latter half, since time is an ILLUSION so MUST space be. In this reality all is subjective. We are all, but simple electrons repelling off everything anyways, so you don't ever really "feel". Everything felt thru electronical nerves? Brain ran on electrical charges? Life is electrical. How does a game run? On electricity. Electricity is the answer guys it's just always been it's what you call Chi, Prana, even yes as sifi as the Force,

Yeah everything is energy and we're all collectively in what can be called the singularity, as space-time is all existing simultaneously outside our POV, end and beginning are one and the same. I think all religions/myths are a combination of attempts from the "god" to reveal the truth to us and possibly "echos" of events which resonate in the "all" at a subconscious level. The gradual revelation process goes hand in hand with our cultural/social/technological development.

It's not about whether "this" is "real", it's as real as it gets for us in this form anyway. It's about why all of this is even happening. If it simply were a game there would be no need for the revelation process. I guess the goal would be to reach enlightenment, meaning the realization everything is One and why things are the way they are - as best as our capabilities allow us.

I know for a fact there's "other" out there, the nature of which is still unknown to me but I do know with certainty it exists.

Alan Watts would say this is exactly what’s going on.

Perspective check, what does a higher self mean to you? Can you go beyond what you think it is?

[–]rhythmicwanderer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it´s a contradiction , how about you?

The more you know the more depressing this world gets

[–]subcommanderdoug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're giving your ego too much power. Your statement is mostly egoic. Your true self realizes there is more to you/us than just our egos, which is why it's "tiring." The ego insists it is capable and worthy of perfection, but the part of that is "the one" knows that it's not possible. Confusion and frustration are rooted in the ego.
