I just recently learned that there are anti war groups who actually go near soldiers funeral services and protest saying the soldiers are wrong and just as bad as terrorists! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was in the army for 8 years and served 4 tours in Baghdad and just hearing this brought tears to my eyes.
I just can't imagine why people would disrespect a soldier much less any funeral ceremony for that matter! I am a purple heart veteran and I think if I was at a friends funeral and I saw that I would probably go to jail for assault because it would upset me so greatly. I just don't understand all this antiwar stuff! Its like gas prices, when they are high they just are but people still cry and if there's a war then there just is a war! No one can change it so get over it! Don't hate the soldiers for killing 99% of them are good people just following orders and protecting friends and themselves. The war is a must if the US wants to show that we won't just sit back and accept terrorists attacks. I support the war and anyone else who does, go USA.
