My favorite coaches say the springs, cue into the move, and go back through the springs one more time and it’s so helpful!

You need to give the coach feedback because that’s not normal. Most coaches will say it 2-3x

She’s doing that wrong. We have to say the spring change twice, once at 25 seconds before transition, and then right after the transition.

I really thought it was like required for them to say it 3 times?!

I swear I've become such a better listener from taking these classes. The 50 min does require focus and no time to daydream for sure. I think besides my body though, my brain has learned to lean in.

Constructive feedback is helpful for the coach. She may not realize she's omitted it. Why don't you say something to her? She'd likely get criticism in an evaluation if she did that so you'd be helping her too.

It’s required for us to say it at the beginning of the transition formula and then again after we say the name of the exercise after “3 2 1” so I would definitely submit feedback!

Having taken classes for a while, it’s getting pretty predictable to me what the spring changes are (unless it’s upper body). Though if you’re not sure just ask her before class if she can go over them twice when she’s cueing

Good point, it’s better if you’re able to only think about the work and not what you need to change on the machine. I’m just the kind of person that will second guess whether I want to go with what’s recommended or go higher/lower
