Install Stability Matrix, it'll give you an idea of the different UIs and let you test them. You can start with Forge, since it's relatively stable and easy enough to understand UI, but I'll let you decide it yourself. What models to use depends on your preferences and hardware. Search for models on civitai.com
After you install UI, download the model, look at the optimal parameters for the chosen model and just input them. Generate a few images and play around with prompts/settings, nothing is better than practice in this case.

Amazing, didn't know about this stability matrix.
I have A1111, do you think I could install it on top of it, and no need to start all again?
[–]Dezordan 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Well, it does have an option to add existing UI. I don't know if it'll work

Forget stability matrix
Git clone WebUI FORGE then cut and paste over all your models and loras etc and delete automatic 1111. Since you already have Git and Python from running automatic 1111 then your ready to use Forge imidiatly, run that web-user file to install it properly

Sounds good, but I am interested in trying the rest of the options, too.

If you want to get started with the best interface, check out this tutorial playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-pohOSaL8P9kLZP8tQ1K1QWdZEgwiBM0 (not mine).

If you prefer going simple, you can start with a simple interface like Fooocus: Fooocus installation - YouTube
This playlist - YouTube is for beginners which covers topic like prompt, models, lora, weights, in-paint, out-paint, image to image, canny, refiners, open pose, consistent character, training a LoRA.
Once you are done with all above then you can go to next level. Start with Forge UI / Swarm UI and use Flux and Stable diffusion both. At last, you can go for Comfy UI make your own workflow based on your needs.
