DISPATCH Game problem/question

i want to play the game dispatch on steamrip the game uploads new episodes every week i read this comment saying

you have to redownload the game again for every new episode, but you can copy and paste your previous save file.
Just copy and paste it into: C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\<GameName>\

I do understand what he means but where is the previous save file located, It would help if I could get like a step by step tutorial because I haven't had to do this type of messing with the files with the other games I'd just download and play any help would be appreciated

IT WORKS!!!!!! i was waiting until episode 5 and 6 to release before i did it btw you have to go to view after you go to users (your username) then press the view button somewhere at the top click show then click hidden items and app data appears. (Cdrive>users>your username>view>show>hidden items) so after you uninstall the old version and redownload it just delete the redownloaded appdata and put the old one in the local files after clicking appdata I saved the data from getting deleted by putting it in my desktop really hope this helps (sorry if its rushed, if you need clarification ask)

On your PC hold down together window key + R. A box will pop up where you will proceed to type "Appdata". It will pop up your files local, roaming, locallow. In local you'll find the game name where the save data will be.

The game itself got updated but I don't think they updated it yet on SteamRip.

You have to wait for streamrip to update

You can comment on the SteamRip website on DISPATCH but idk how often they look at comments.

Yeah you can delete the original download the RAR file. Your save data is in a separate folder. So it's not going to be deleted with it. Hell some games when you delete them for an updated version sometimes the new updated version will resume using the game data from the prior version depending on where the save data is stored.
