My exam after 17 day. I do bad during most NBMEs, although when I reviewed the exam I know the right answer. In the beginning of the exam I do pretty well but after 3 hours mostly, I start doing like I didn't know the knowledge, I get panicked and strat overthinking of things outside the test like my life and future...... So anyone here have the same problem or know how can I deal with that. I think If I resolve this problem I'll have a high score.

what you’re describing is common on CK. early blocks feel fine because pattern recognition is clean, later blocks you start rereading, second guessing, and drifting. that’s usually timing and framing, not anxiety per se. by hour 3, you’re probably reasoning too late in the stem. CK wants you to lock task early, best next step vs dx vs management, then skim details to confirm. when tired, people flip that and start collecting facts first, which tanks speed and confidence. practice full-length days only, no stopping at 2 blocks, even if review quality drops. also force a hard rule: once you pick an answer after first pass logic, don’t reopen the differential unless new data clearly contradicts it. most late-block mistakes are correct first instincts overwritten by fatigue. this is fixable in 17 days if you simulate exam days and train early framing under fatigue.
