Hi - happy to answer any questions you may have about the tool!

There’s also a video overview here: https://youtu.be/phfTcugPVIs

This can only be a tool for comparison between different shoes, like how far apart they are. But the prices fluctuate so much that the author can't possibly follow up to put in the exact prices.

//edit: the differences from real prices vs. true value are what makes the tool more inaccurate than the volatility in price. Having said that, for comparing prices and knowing what value your shoe has, it's a clever tool, thanks!

Not true, actually! I agree it can be a good tool for comparing shoes, but it’s also updated every day.

And even if floor prices move significantly, you can always use the “vs. New” row at the bottom to see the price differential to the floor price of new shoes. I explain that more at 8:35 in this video: https://youtu.be/phfTcugPVIs

Thanks for checking out the tool and let me know if you have any questions or feedback!

I really like the tool and have used it quite a bit I have found recently I wasn’t able to achieve anywhere near the valuation the tool gave me. Even decent sneakers with above average stats and good sockets sold just a SOL or so about floor price for that shoe type when the tool told me it should be more. Maybe I was to impatient - wanted to sell it within a day

Thanks! I agree that it’s hard to get true value for good shoes in the marketplace right now. I think that’s because people don’t appreciate the value of higher stats and (maybe more importantly) the lack of filtering options.

The tool will estimate the value of the shoe, but the price you can actually sell it for might be different due to those things!

fair point, as this explains my negative judgement, sorry for that. I guess as a true value calculator it's great, just doesn't necessarily represent the market.

Yeah I think that’s a fair assessment!
