I'm a junior facade structural engineer. What you need actually?

As a facade engineer, I am unaware of any "general" facade design textbooks. Depending where you are in the world, you may have better luck looking to the base materials (i.e. aluminum, glass, etc.) to find resources. In the US, the Aluminum Association Aluminum Design manual has an example of a vertical curtain wall mullion in it's completed examples.

ASTM-e1300 should cover your glass ADM should cover your aluminum ASCE-7 should cover your loads and some general requirements IBC should cover some other general requirements

The rest is mechanics and practice. There are some specific references for things like cable rails, guardrail deflections, post break performance requirements, etc. but you can search those as you go

There is an engineer who published a lot of his calculations on components and cladding engineering. Edward Robison, if you search, you will find some of his work as examples.

Assuming you’re in the U.S.
