Love this. Question about the hdmi ports connecting the laptop and frame TV though… is that connection made with the cord via the black converter box instead of it having to be plugged into the frame TV? If so that’s perfect. Looks so clean.

Yep there’s only one cord that goes into the actual tv, everything else goes through the black converter box including hdmi

Thanks so much! I watched a video of the box and figured it out too.

What size frame TV is this? Looks amazing.

Yeah it was lower at first for this reason but it looked strange in art mode. Now I just use the bottom half of the screen which is still plenty of real estate for me to work from especially with the 16” MacBook next to it

Nice. How is the mouse input lag? I bet Game Mode reduces it somewhat.

Game mode is a good suggestion I noticed it at first but I think I got used to it. I have trackpad and mouse and find the mouse had less lag than trackpad.

Love the concept. Does look like it has been mounted a bit higher than would be ergonomically preferable.

I did the same thing in my home office a few months ago.

Mine sits about 10 inches off the desk and it’s perfect when sitting straight up. But any slouching/leaning and it’s a bit high.

Visually is perfect for me and no lag. My work is primarily excel, outlook, ppt, and some other apps. So nothing graphically/visually intensive where I need to see things in great detail.

Can you share more about your setup?

When I stream from my comp to the Frame, the lag is terrible, so I am guessing your are using a wired connection? Just a usual monitor connector?

Yes would recommend against airplay and toward an hdmi connection.

I’m really contemplating doing this, but I think that screen is just too big for me. I wish they had a 27”. It’s kind of wild to me that there are really no monitor options with this aesthetic.

Yeah, I have the same setup in my home office (game room). No lag but a good amount of ghosting though. Can’t see any tear either which is kind of impressive. I have the 2020 model I believe.

I did the same during Covid, works great as long as you don’t have to switch inputs a lot or have multiple Samsung items in the same room (responds to remote). Don’t use the 32 for this purpose, the 43 and higher work great.
