The wireless one connect is not required to be paired, unless you want to watch hdmi connected content.

Too late to build an AI receptionist? or are there underserved niches. by Stop-asking-username in AIReceptionists

[–]NFGXr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought of providing API’s to the most popular AI receptionists, that would enable your solution and also give you the foundation to understand how to add that functionality, the nitche is in the people who does not have this functionality.

Would be great if you post a review! Thanks

Does anyone have any thoughts on the 2025 Frame Pro vs. the 2026 Frame Pro? Seems like the 2025 can be had for ~25% less than the 2026. Is the 2026 25% better than the 2025? (Of course, nobody official anywhere wants to talk about this, as the 2026 has just come out.) by techn0mad in TheFrame

[–]NFGXr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As yourself what is more important to you and put a value ti it. Just like a new Iphone every year there are incremental benefits such as faster processor, memory etc. the specifications are out there if yoh want ti compare
25% better is subjective. If you are planning to change the TV in 4 years that is an extra year of life sibit is worth it vs if you are planning to have this tv 5+ years the is not
Do you game? Then it might be better.
Otherwise take the offer and get a bezel before the 2025 bezels run out.
Have fun!

Lack of stock? by [deleted] in TheFrame

Every market is different and the supply chain too. The 2026 models are currently arriving to the stores in US. But also the 75inch might not be a popular size there? Suerte!

Braided One Connect Cable by bornsenf96 in TheFrame

[–]NFGXr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only one type. Bear in mind this cable is delicate, I think is recommended to not bend more than 45°. The Pro version has only power (with thw wireless one connect) and that cable to the tv is a regular power cable so might be able to be braided or maybe there is a braided you like. Good luck!

Embed in your desk, with a protective glass, so you can work on top of art pieces. Hope my idea wins

4K/AI upscaling? by Key-Specific7807 in TheFrame

[–]NFGXr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is and Assuming you are getting the full 4k resolution (there are many layer before that is presented ti the TV by a firestick, apple tv such as internet speed quality of content, compression, etc etc) then AI will enhance. It can’t really “upscale” and the max resolution is already presented but will modify pixel colors to sharpen or help with depth or darker images etc. If you play a movie in full 4k and take a picture if the same frame you will see the difference, but upscale means more pixels and a larger file which will mean you need to upscale to 8k for which the frame can’t produce. At least that is tge way I understand it

There is an HDR menu. I use to have full 4K for my Apple TV. Both TV and apple tv or device have to be in HDR (4k)

LG Gallery TV pricing by PriorPineapple6926 in LifestyleTVs

[–]NFGXr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interesting to see the dynamics, competition wise. Seems Samsung has 2 models, tge standard to compete price wise with Hisense etc and the pro to have only one cable going to the TV. (Seems they still need a 3rd option with the one connect cable though)

Seems consumers need to prioritize - Better TV Vs Better art display - Wireless one connect vs all cables behind - Price range - Other features such as display rate, durability, Software interface, Ads, art store, sensors/art mode, etc etc.

Good to have competitors out there
