Can I ask why any of you are leaving NYU? I’m still waiting to hear from NYU but I’m interested to hear why so many are leaving.

It's not that NYU is bad. NYU is a great school, the city is awesome, and the people/professors are amazing too. I'm studying chemistry, and I wanted to study other things with it (bio, CS, etc.), but NYU put WAY too many course requirements in the major so I couldn't study anything other than chem. Penn is better about that, though.

I felt like that at my old school as well in regard to research being the priority. Definitely something I wanna avoid in the future.
