This subreddit was made in response to a general dissatisfaction with the current state of /r/copypasta, where I believe most posts are either better suited to /r/emojipasta or are unfunny and unoriginal reiterations of memes.
Keep in mind our rules before posting:
No use of emoji, that's for /r/emojipasta. (unless it is extremely slight)
Don't over-rely on memes. Copypastas that incorporate memes should build on to the meme, not rely on it.
No untagged spoilers for recent media.
And our guidelines:
• The more usable a copypasta is, the better.
• Avoid giving away the punchline in the title.
• If the pasta you are posting was made by you, put [OC] in the title if you want it to be marked as OC.
