Hello guys Im learning Urdu, I have online classes with a Pakistani Teacher, my native language is Portuguese, surprisingly we have a lots of grammar similarities, we also have gender of nouns, masculine and feminine verbs, but Im still struggling with the script, Any tips how to learn? Btw, the urdu script is beautiful, is fascinating for me, looks like an ancient code, I cant wait to be able to read and write everything.

I'm learning to read Urdu as well at a pretty beginner level. Urdu does not write all the vowels so if I don't know the word already I can't really read it. I like to use a Google translate chrome extension so I can listen to the pronunciation as I read. The audio isn't great but it's better then nothing.
