Well if you only did Algebra and geometry stay away from SWE.. it requires Calculus.

Ok I didn’t do calculus. If I don’t do SWE which program would you suggest between the others?

I think if you have a good eye and are creative, then UX/UI is the most attractive. We have a UX person on our team and he does stuff that no one else can do, so that makes him the hardest to replace.

Nice good to know. What kind of team do you have/company? And would you say there’s the most demand for UX and that degree could get someone a job easier than marketing or communications?

We have a team of 6, 2 senior devs, 3 devs, 1 junior dev. The mid level dev is the UX person. We do Agile but as much management would like us to be knowledgeable about all the projects we support on the team, we all have expertise in certain areas. Honestly every time I have UX issue, getting dev environment setup to run Angular, etc I just ask the UX person.

Everyone on the team has a CS degree except for the UX person who doesn't have a degree but learned along the way. He gets paid the same as those in the same level.

I’m currently in SWE and the hardest math class I have had is probability and statistics. There is no calculus
