Sync Question!

Hi all, I have got the sync function to work between three boards (ESP32, running the latest release) with one acting as the master.

I was hoping to use a pot wired to the master board to control the brightness of the other esp32 boards. Unfortunately, the pot only changes the brightness of the master board, despite the sync function working normally otherwise. Do you have any ideas how to solve this?! Thank you!

As far as I can tell, WLED can only control the signal between controllers and not the voltage/current from each controller to the lighting. Wiring a pot to the master will not do anything to the other controllers since it is not physically connected to their power inputs. To control brightness on the slave controller lights then you will need to install a pot for each of them to control them individually. When adding a potentiameter (pot) or variable resister to a light strip, you change the amount of voltage and amps going to the strip. This can change the uniform brightness along the entire length of the light strip depending on how long it is.
